What Are We Doing Here

We're seeing huge changes in the American evangelical church. Some say these changes represent a return to classical evangelicalism. Others say this represents a return to something much older.

Either way the journey is going to change the way the Church looks and acts. And, if we're lucky, the Church will once again change America. I believe America has been uniquely blessed in the world. In this place and at this time, God has gathered the outcast and unwanted from every corner of the globe to create a place of unprecedented opportunity. These opportunities naturally put us in a position to lead. But not just lead the way the world leads.

If America's Christians really want to lead in the best way possible, we need to lead like Jesus led. Jesus taught us to lead as servants. My prayer is that the Church in America can become a fellowship of servant leaders who leverage their wealth, education, and passions in service to the rest of the Body of Christ. And above that, I am praying that God will lead me into the path of servanthood and in that process I could be changed to become more like Him.
